It started with a powerful vision: help clients all over the world achieve financial success. And for over 65 years, our performance-first focus has not wavered—but that's not the end of the story. How we invest matters, too. For us, it means directing 40% of our dividends to find cures that touch all of us. So, the better we do for you, the more we can do for everyone.

Our number one goal is to help clients succeed financially. Doing so also supports life-changing medical research. Directing 40% of our dividends to the Institute annually isn't just a transaction. It’s prospering with purpose.

Mutual Fund or ETF—Which to Use?

Choosing between a mutual fund and an ETF may depend on your objectives, the level of flexibility you desire, your views on taxes, or if you’re interested in the simplicity of having an automatic investment. All mutual funds and ETFs have specific investment objectives, features and costs to consider. You can choose both and combine them with individual stocks and bonds to customize your portfolio. The primary difference between mutual funds and ETFs is how they are bought and sold.
