Ted is a member of the team of investment professionals at Avantis Investors® and was one of the group’s founding members. Ted is responsible for managing all U.S. and International Equity strategies. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Ted was a portfolio manager and vice president at Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA) where he managed U.S., International Developed and Emerging Market portfolios. During his 17-year tenure at DFA, Ted was also a member of the firm’s research group where he designed portfolio management and trading applications to optimize the rebalancing and management of portfolios.

Ted earned his MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Southern California.
