Mitchell Handa is a Senior Portfolio Manager for fixed income strategies at Avantis Investors®. Mitchell joined Avantis Investors in 2020. Prior to Avantis Investors, he served as a portfolio manager for systematic strategies at Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) from 2012 to 2019 where he also functioned as the firm’s ETF capital markets representative. Prior to that, he worked as a portfolio manager and senior trader at Barclays Global Investors/Blackrock from 2004 to 2010.

Mitchell holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from The City University of New York, a master's degree in physics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master’s degree in financial mathematics from The University of Chicago.
