Mikaela is an investment strategist at Avantis Investors®. In this role, Mikaela coordinates and executes on content development surrounding Avantis’ investment approach and solutions. She also meets with advisors and institutions to discuss investment topics and explain Avantis’ investment capabilities.

Prior to joining Avantis Investors, Mikaela was a senior sustainable research anaylst at American Century Investments. In this role, she led the development of sustainability models and managed the innovation of assesment tools. Previously, she was an equity trader on the firm’s global trading desk. In addition to executing orders, she focused on quantitive analysis to automate and standardize trading workflow.

Mikaela earned a Bachelor of Science in business analytics and marketing from the University of Kansas.
