Michael is responsible for synchronizing the American Century and Avantis businesses, also serving as relationship director/investment specialist for Avantis in Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma and Northern Illinois.

Before joining Avantis, Michael was vice president and financial advisor consultant at American Century Investments. In this role, he was dedicated to communicating investment strategies and practice-building ideas to financial advisors in Kansas and Missouri.

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from the University of Kansas. He later received an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He holds Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses and CIMA® credentials. In 2020, Michael was nominated to participate in the Money Management Institute’s distinguished two-year Leadership Pathway professional development program.

He serves on the board of Children’s Mercy Kansas City’s annual Red Hot Night gala fundraiser as well as serves on the Variety KC board.
