Stephen is a vice president, relationship director and investment specialist at Avantis Investors®. Prior to Avantis Investors' establishment in 2019, Stephen served as vice president and regional director at Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA). In this role, Stephen was responsible for managing relationships and developing business nationally, primarily with large RIAs, family offices and broker dealers. Prior to that, Stephen was vice president, institutional equity sales at UBS Financial Services. In this role, he worked closely with hedge funds, mutual funds and asset managers as the primary relationship manager between investment research, capital markets and investment banking clients.

Stephen earned a Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis, a bachelor of arts in history from Duke University and holds Series 7 and 63 Licenses.
